Could You Run Every Single Day for Nearly Five Years? Here’s Why I Do—And Why I’m Not Stopping
What does it really take to wake up, lace up (well, go barefoot!), and run every single day for almost 1,750 days? More importantly, what would drive someone to run 40,075km—the distance round the world—while fundraising £1,000,000 to save children’s lives? Grab your coffee (or running shoes), because this is more than a streak: it’s a way of life. And I’m just getting started.
Welcome to Day 1,750—But Far From the Finish Line
Today marks an incredible milestone: 1,750 consecutive days of running. That’s almost 5 years of unbroken commitment—not a single missed day, each step taken barefoot, while vlogging the journey for the world to see. Sounds mad? Maybe. But I’m Runpreneur, and my sights are firmly set on my ultimate goal: surpassing 4,292 days, clocking 40,075km, and raising £1 million for children’s causes that desperately need our help.
Here’s why hitting 1,750 days is just a pit stop, not a destination.
I average 7.5km per day. Unlike many run streaks that count a single mile as sufficient, nearly every day for me is at least 7km, often more. Even when prepping for ultra-endurance events, dropping below 5k is a rarity, I can count those days on less than both hands.
So what keeps me going? Simple: every run, every vlog, is a battle against adversity, and a step closer to our £1M target for children in need. Each view, share, or donation brings more attention to the cause.
Let’s be honest: I’m not getting any younger. At 43, my powers of physical recovery aren’t what they once were—yet my mental resilience has never been stronger. This challenge has forced me to adapt, over and over. No matter what age or stage, staying flexible—mentally and physically—is the only way forward.
And the truth is, this mindset shift is universal: the more adaptable we are, the more successful and happier we become, in running and in life.
This isn’t just a run streak. It’s my life storey, captured on video, day after day. I’ve run through illnesses, injuries, jet lag, blazing sun and freezing rain, across different countries and terrains. Every hard slog is documented—a diary not just of miles, but of memories, milestones, and moments I’ll never forget.
I can look back and relive how I felt on any given day, reliving the raw emotions and struggles. That’s powerful. That’s what keeps me honest and grounded.
It’s tempting to focus only on the number—1,750 days! But what matters more is the journey: the daily discipline, the lessons learnt, the adversity overcome. If you’re on a similar streak—at any number—take time to reflect on what you’ve learnt about yourself. Those storeys, that resilience, are your real achievement.
This is just the beginning. The mission remains: run every day, cover 40,075km, and raise £1,000,000 for children’s causes. Every step, every vlog, is part of saving lives.
So, here’s my ask: join the movement. Share. Donate. Run a mile in solidarity. Help me get the word out. The more people who know, the more lives we save.
Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? Drop a comment, ask a question, or share your own streak storey below—let’s inspire each other. Remember: stay positive, stay happy, and never stop adapting. See you on Day 1,751—and every day after, until we change the world.
Let’s keep running, keep raising, and keep believing—one step, one day, one life at a time.
Follow my journey and support the cause. Every view, every pound, every share helps.
