Stop Right There—What Would It Feel Like to Run Every Day for 1,800 Consecutive Days?
Sounds mad, doesn’t it? Well, that's exactly where I stand today: 1,800 days of daily running. No cheat days. No excuses. No missed holidays, no skipped Mondays, not even a sniffle or a snowstorm could hold me back.
I’m celebrating a milestone that most runners only ever dream about. But this isn’t just about ticking another day off the calendar. This is about pushing beyond limits, raising the bar higher, and fuelling a mission bigger than myself: raising £1,000,000 for children’s causes by conquering 40,075km and going beyond Day 4,292 of the Runpreneur Challenge.
Why Celebrate Milestones? Because Nobody Else Will Do It For You!
If you’re anything like me, you’re quick to notice when things go wrong—but when you smash a personal goal or hit another marker on your journey, it's easy to just quietly move on. That’s got to stop. We’re so conditioned to panic when trouble arrives, but when it’s time to celebrate success, we hold back. Why? I say, let’s flip the script.
1,800 days of running—without a single miss—is absolutely worth shouting about.
What It Really Feels Like on a Running Streak—Every Single Day
If you’ve ever been curious about a run streak, let me give you a sneak peek behind the scenes:
I’ve averaged around 7.5 kilometres every single day.
My shortest dash? 5k. My longest? A whopping 70k.
I’ve tackled a stack of ultras and full marathons as part of this streak, and YES, the miles add up fast.
I’ve run through every weather the British Isles can throw at me—gale-force winds in Norfolk, soggy afternoons under relentless rain, icy blasts, crazy heatwaves (even in the UK!), and peaceful, misty dawns along the sea.
But let me tell you—there’s no better way to mark a milestone than running on my favourite routes: up in the rugged mountains or, like today, along the stunning North Norfolk coastline. There’s something almost magical about the sea breeze and the clarity of mind it brings.
The Bigger Mission: Every Step Saves a Life
Why do I keep pushing? Because every mile, every drenched shirt, every morning jog on Christmas or Boxing Day is part of a bigger cause—saving children’s lives by raising £1,000,000 for charity.
The more people follow, share, and support my journey, the more money we raise—the more lives we save. Whether it’s New Year’s Day or the bleakest Monday imaginable, I run because those miles have purpose. Every lap, every blister, takes us closer to the ultimate goal.
From Cambridge to Western Australia—One Step at a Time
I’ve already logged enough miles to reach from Cambridge to Western Australia... or Cambridge to Miami AND BACK. And yet, I’m nowhere near done. This is just a third of the journey to my goal of 40,075 kilometres—the full lap around the world.
And I’m not stopping until I get there—or beyond.
Here’s My Challenge to You
We all face challenges—some are physical, some are mental, some are heart-breaking. But when milestones arrive, don’t be shy. Embrace them. Celebrate them. And let them fuel the next chapter of your journey.
Whether you’re chasing your first 5k, launching a life-changing project, or trying to keep a habit alive through thick and thin—celebrate every win, no matter how small.
Get Involved—Let’s Change More Lives, Together!
