I’m not just chasing medals or marathon times. My mission? To go beyond Day 4,292, to cover a world-circumnavigating 40,075km, and to raise a life-changing £1,000,000 for children’s causes. Each stride is part of the world’s ultimate ultra marathon, chronicled here, barefoot and honest.
But today, at 1,900 consecutive days, I’m taking a moment to reflect and, more importantly, to take you with me.
What I Felt Hitting 1,900 Days of Running Streak
How does it feel to cross such a milestone? In one word: surreal. There’s a rush of gratitude, pride, and a sense of awe at the journey. The streak isn’t just about running, it's about living life, one determined step at a time, come sunshine or monsoon, home or abroad.
Some highlights?
I’ve soaked in sunsets so vivid they feel like nature’s own celebration. Today's fiery red sun dipping beneath the trees will be seared in my memory forever.
I’ve run crystal-clear coastlines in Montenegro, watched waves mirror the calm sky, and traversed city chaos like Times Square and Ho Chi Minh, dodging 200 frenzied motorcycles.
I’ve faced runs in eerie solitude and in the thick of bustling crowds, through the stifling heat of Singapore’s monsoon and the shivering cold atop snowy peaks.
More Than Just Miles: Why I Run Every Day
This streak has been my anchor through life’s highs and lows. Running gave me beauty and hardship, but also clarity and resilience. It’s shaped my mental health, allowed pure moments of connection with nature, and forced me to see both the best and worst in people and places.
Here’s the simple truth:
Running streaks are brutally hard. They’ll test your will, resilience, and ability to appreciate each day’s privilege. But they’ll also bring out your best you’ll find joy in the journey, perspective in adversity, and an unwavering gratitude for the gift of motion.
If You’re Thinking About Starting a Running Streak…
Be warned: It’s not easy. There are days I dread lacing up, days it’s the last thing I want. But remember so many people would give anything to have the freedom to run. Never take your ability for granted. Treat every run as a gift.
Let’s Make Each Step Count for the Children
I’m not just running for myself. Every day is a step closer to saving lives. The more visibility we gain, the more we raise for children who need our support most. We’re on a mission: £1,000,000 for children’s causes. Every view, share, like, comment, and donation matters.
So here’s my ask to you:
Are you ready to be part of something bigger?
Subscribe, share, comment and lace up your trainers.
Let’s keep this streak alive, one day, one kilometre, one good deed at a time.
Stay positive. Stay happy. And I’ll see you on the next run.
