Stop scrolling imagine running every single day for over 1,900 days, covering the equivalent distance from London to Sydney (and back) barefoot. Sounds impossible? That’s exactly what I’ve just achieved. And I’m only a third of the way through my ultimate goal: running 40,075km, the full circumference of the globe, and raising £1,000,000 to save children’s lives. Welcome to another day of the Runpreneur Challenge!

Celebrating 15,000km of Daily Running Why This Moment Means Everything
Today marks consecutive day 1,911 of the Diary of a Runpreneur and the achievement of a massive milestone: 15,000km of consecutive daily running (Kevin Brittain). It’s taken me five and a quarter years to get here, averaging 7.2km every single day. That’s not just a number; it’s the equivalent of running from London to central Australia, possibly even Melbourne or Sydney, depending on the route (Kevin Brittain). Or New York and back. Or Miami and back. Whichever way you look at it, it’s a distance that makes you appreciate just how monumental this journey is.
But here’s the real perspective: the circumference of the earth is 40,075km (Kevin Brittain). Today, I’m just over a third of the way round. London to Australia is a third, not halfway, and that world ‘other side’ cliché simply doesn’t cut it. There’s a whole two-thirds to go two-thirds more opportunity to make a real difference. And the mission is bigger than the numbers: every kilometre, every day, is raising money and awareness for children’s causes.
Gratitude: The Secret Ingredient of Every Streak
Running every day isn’t easy. It's hard work, and it's easy to complain or groan (Kevin Brittain). But the truth is, running streaks are a privilege. If you’re on a running streak or chasing any other long-term goal remember to be grateful. It’s a gift, and one too easily taken for granted. I feel incredibly lucky and honoured to have made it this far, and I’ll never stop reminding myself of that as I push towards my ultimate aim: 40,075km and £1,000,000 raised to help children in need.
How I’m Celebrating and What’s Next
So, how do you celebrate running 15,000km? I’ve already treated myself to something very relevant (more on that in tomorrow’s episode). But the real celebration is seeing more people get involved, raising more funds, and saving more lives. That’s what drives me daily (Kevin Brittain).
