How I Manage Workload and Avoid Getting Overwhelmed After a Break

Hi there, it's Kevin from Runpreneur YouTube, and today I wanted to share with you how I manage my workload and prevent myself from getting overwhelmed, especially after coming back from a break.

Returning to work after a holiday can often feel like a mountain of tasks awaiting you, but over time, I've developed a system that has helped me stay on top of things and maintain a sense of control.

One key aspect of managing workload that I find crucial is estimating the amount of time a task will take. By breaking tasks down into chunks of time, such as 15-minute increments, it becomes easier to allocate work efficiently and avoid overloading my schedule. This method allows me to gauge how much work I have in a day, and adjust my workload accordingly.

Having a structured dashboard where I can see my tasks categorized by urgency and time estimates is essential for me. This visual representation helps me prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that important and time-sensitive activities are addressed first, while non-urgent tasks can be moved back if needed.

By planning my week in advance and monitoring my workload regularly, I can prevent tasks from piling up and feeling overwhelmed. This not only benefits me but also my team members, as a well-managed workload reduces stress and chaos in the workplace.

As an entrepreneur, having the right systems and processes in place is crucial for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and living life on my terms. By being proactive in managing my workload, I can focus on what truly matters and make the most of my time.

So, if you're someone who often feels overwhelmed after a break, consider implementing a similar system to track your tasks, estimate time, and prioritize effectively. You'll be amazed at how much smoother your return to work can be.
