Do You Believe in Fate? Here’s Why It Might Change Your Life…
What if I told you that everything happening right now, whether you’re feeling lucky or facing injustice, could actually be part of a bigger plan guiding your journey? Let’s dig into the power of fate—and how trusting it could shape your life for the better.
Hi, I’m Kevin, and today I’m sharing thoughts straight from my 1,712th consecutive day of running the Runpreneur Challenge. Yes, you read that right: over 1,700 days running, barefoot, on a mission to run 40,075km—one lap of the Earth—and raise £1,000,000 for children’s causes. My story’s not just about running shoes (or the lack of them!). It’s a journey of resilience, trust, and believing in something bigger.
Why Talk About Fate?
Sometimes, life stings. You do the right thing, but the result isn’t fair. Other days, luck throws you a bone so unexpectedly, you’d swear there’s some cosmic force at play. Does fate exist? I say yes. And here’s why that mindset has kept me going day after day, kilometre after kilometre.
Fate Isn’t About Passivity—It’s About Purpose
Over the years, between rescuing kids’ lives, pushing through blisters, and picking up my son from football after a barefoot sprint, I’ve seen both sides: moments of deep injustice, and times when fortune smiled upon me out of the blue. The lesson? Life balances itself out. Sometimes, what goes around comes—not always today, but perhaps one day soon.
When I give, when I try my best to do the right thing, I trust that good things will return—not because I expect it, but because I believe that’s how the world should work. That’s what keeps me running at dawn or through rainstorms, striving for the ultra marathon goal, knowing it’s all contributing to something greater.
Are You Ready to Trust in Fate—And Yourself?
You might feel like things aren’t always fair in your life. Me too. But I’ve learnt that the more good you do, the more good comes back around—sometimes in unexpected ways. If you’ve ever wondered whether the universe is conspiring for or against you, remember: doing the right thing isn’t about the reward, it’s about believing that your actions matter, and trusting that the ledger does eventually balance.
Join Me on the Journey—And Change a Life
I’m not just running for the sake of running. Every day I lace up (well, technically, go barefoot!), I’m driven by a commitment to raise £1,000,000 for children’s causes, one step at a time. The more people that join this journey—liking, sharing, commenting, and supporting—the closer we get to changing lives. Maybe that’s your fate too: to make a difference, right now.
What Do You Believe?
Do you trust in fate, karma, or that sense of balance? Share your thoughts with me—the highs, the lows, the storeys where fate tipped the scales your way (or didn’t).
