Why 50 Days? Why Now?
If you’re a goal-setter, you’ve probably heard of the 90-day sprint: quarter-long pushes that define targets in business or life. As I shared in my vlog diary, I’ve followed this principle myself. But here’s the punchline—sometimes 90 days is just too drawn out. In my running life, celebrating every 50-day milestone keeps me driven, hungry, and focused.
Seven weeks are long enough to push boundaries, achieve something substantial, and—if you’re determined—even prep for a marathon (my training blocks are often eight weeks!). Think about it: many never run daily for a week, let alone a month or longer. Cross 50 days, and you’re in rare territory.
The Last 50 Days: Unmissable Achievements & Real Reflection
On day 1,850 of my running streak, I looked back and realised: not only did I pass my five-year anniversary (an enormous milestone!), but I also completed BOTH a marathon and a 50K ultra marathon during this past block. All while sticking to my everyday mission—run, vlog, and raise money for children’s causes around the world.
Honestly, these last seven weeks have been a blessing. Brilliant British weather, longer daylight hours, and the positive energy from fellow runners like Marsh (1200 consecutive days—what a legend!). Compared to the winter grind, summer running is pure joy. But don’t just take my word for it—try reflecting on your last 50 days and see what’s changed in YOUR life.
